Hi - you're booting Mandriva 2007 Cooker. That's always going to be difficult because it's the beta / testing version of the OS, so you're likely to have a lot of problems. Mandriva tends to be quite bleeding edge even when it's not in beta, so you really want a more stable release than that. 2007.1 Cooker isn't the same as 2007 ...

Yeah - i thought so, i have another thread up asking if you can upgrade from beta to final or if i have to just download the final version.
Plus I do have a copy of the 4 CD final version mandriva. But when i put in the third CD it always stuffs up, anyways ill probably just fix the third CD, md5sum check and re-burn it ect....Then ill reinstall.

One more question:
I have the 4 CD's but can i just put all four on on DVD or do i have to download the DVD version for that?

Alright done.
just reinstalled linux now it works fine, and its the final version.
