    3D Cube Not working

    Hi all,

I am a complete newbie to linux, and having installed Mandriva 2007 free everything seemed fine however when i tried to turn the 3d cube on it tells me that 3d graphics are not available. I have a nvidia 6300 agp graphics card. Can some one please help, I have tried suse and it works (albeit slowly) on that but prefer mandriva.

    Thanks

    glxinfo

Open a terminal-window and type glxinfo and see if there are any error messages. My guess is that there is something wrong in the /etc/X11/xorg.config file. Maybe the wrong driver?

Typing glxgears in a terminal-window could also show an error message.
