Problem installing the Ati driver
I tried installing the latest Ati drivers to Mandriva 2007. I typed "sh ./<driver name>.run" in the console, and the installation program started. The problem is that it gives me a message that "X710/usr/X11R6/bin" is missing. I can finish the installation normally, but it obviously can't create the "aticonfig" file to the missing path.
Anyone have any idea, what's the prob?

Ati must make an easy and much capable driver installer. I had have same problem. I read from somewhere someones post. He had copied files to somewhere and correct to problem. But he didn't answer my ,which file to where, question. But you can try to manuelly create paths and copy some files.
My tried pc was my friends pc. So I couldn't work on it until to find a solve.
