Uninstalling Mandriva
I have Mandriva installed with XP on one disk and wish to uninstall both of them. XP was no problem but I can't figure out how to uninstall Mandriva. Can anyone help?

DBAN will wipe the whole disk for you.

OR boot up mandriva, gain 'root' ( su ) privileges and execute this in terminal
if Mandriva is installed in SATA harddisk, replace hda with 'sda'.Code:dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hda bs=521 count=1
everything will be gone on reboot and your harddisk will be blank like brand new one.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
