hi, i am new using linux, i use mandriva powerpak 2007.

i have this problem i am using azureus and so far i have a very good speed downloading, but it my upload speed stays at 2.0k/b, i went to this place to test my upload and it said that probably my firewall is blocking the FTP or something like that, and that i should release the FTP form my firewall so i can improve my upload, i don't know how permiting FTP is going to improve my upload in general (like in azureus), if any one can help me with that, or tell me how can i improve my upload speed. i know that at least i could upload at 15 k/b or something like that
