    can't install nvidia driver why?

    What do you get when you run
    Code:
    uname -r
    That should tell you your kernel version. Personally I think most would work but I would recommend
    • 17- kernel-source-2.6.17.11mdv-1-1mdv2007.0.x86_64 : The source code for the Linux kernel (to install)
    Assuming of course your kernel version matches.
