Beryl and compiz confilct
I'm using mandriva linux free 2007. By default it came with compiz fully up and running ie 3D cube, wobbly windows, ect.
Then I downloaded and installed beryl. Now i have no 3D effects and when i go into compiz configuration it says that its all up and running, but its not.
Likewise when i go to beryl manager it says that the 3D cube and whatnot should be working, but there not.
I think there might be a confict between compiz and beryl that stopps them both from working. How do I fix this? and how could i deffine weather i want to use beryl or compiz?
P.S. i use gnome
Thanks

I now believe it might be because i dont have "beryl-manager-0.2.0" installed. Could this be the problem?
When i go to install it
"Sorry, the following package(s) can't be selected:
beryl-manager-0.2.0-1mdv2007.0.i586 (due to unsatisfied xvinfo)"
What does this mean and how can i fix it.
