    problem mounting CDROM

    Hi,
    I am facing a problem in mouting the CDROM. Whenever any CD is put in and I ask it to mount,

    mount /mnt/cdrom

    it says

    mount: /dev/hdc already mounted or /mnt/cdrom busy

    and hence does not show the contents of the CD.

    [P.S. - The CDROM device was working perfectly fine yesterday and today it is giving this problem.]

    check /media/cdrom folder first. if it doesn't show contents of CD, unmont CD.
    Code:
    umount /dev/hdc
    mount /dev/hdc again.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
