    Unhappy removing uwanted programs


    Hi, I have installed mandriva 2006.But some programs have crushed such as naotun and also my default xmms is not working and I want to remove them.please help!!!!!!

    Hi
    to remove the unwanted programs from a command line
    rpm -q program-name to query the program name complete
    rpm -e program-name to remove.

    Also from the Mandriva Control Center, you can access the software management. There must be an option "Remove Software"

    It's always a good idea to remove buggy software. As root, you could also type urpme <package> . For example:

    urpme xmms

    It's a quick and efficient way to delete unwanted stuff.
