LinDVD crashes
Hardware HP Pavilion 9300 series AMD 64, 1 Gb ram + 86Gb free on the HD
I am running, or rather trying to run, LinDVD on Mandriva 2007. It starts playing the video and after slightly over 4 minutes it crashes. Up comes the LinDVD splash screen. I have cleaned several DVD's, not that they were dirty, and tried playing the same DVD's on two different laptops.
Could someone please give an idea as to what to try to resolve this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Tony

LinDVD Crashes PROBLEM SOLVED
I enteres the keywords "LinDVD Crashes Mandriva " into GOOGLE and up came a cure from the problem. It seems that one of the files is inthe wrong place forcing LinDVD to run as a DEMO.
The solution is to start up a terminal as ROOT and then enter the following:
cp /usr/share/lindvd/libivimandriva.so /usr/lib/
l dconfig
Log out of the terminal.
Then start LinDVD. It works well and is running now (The BOUNTY - Anthony Hopkins et al ) as I type this.

LinDVD Crashes Problem SOLVED - correction
I accidentally put a space between two letters in the Wiki solution .
This is to be done as ROOT
The code should read as follows:
cp /usr/share/lindvd/libivimandriva.so /usr/lib/
ldconfig
