    Same problem

    I just tried to install Mandrake 10.1 on a HP/compaq presario laptop. Same problem. This is my 4th attempt to install a Linux build on one of my computers. I guess it's a sign. Maybe I should stick with Window$.

    Have you tried their latest release which is Mandriva 2007.1 (Spring).
