    File Sharing Programs Any ? Newbie

    Hello All,
    I am looking to install file sharing software on my Mandriva system ,I have tried Limewire but it just will not install ( This may be my lack of Linux know how ! )
    Can anyone offer any help with how to install a package and which one to use. Please Bare in mind I am a complete Newbie to Linux.

    File Sharing programs

    Brad,
    I haven't used file sharing programs but if you type into a Google search "file sharing rpm" you will find a fair number of programs etc in RPM format.

    Use R.PM in preference to .tar at this stage. The Mandriva Control Centre will guide you through the process of installing a .rpm program.

    Simply click on the d0ownloaded program (FileSharing Program.rpm or whatever it is called and the Mandriva Control Centre should open up.
