Hi all,

I am trying to get mod_jk working, but am getting a 404 error when I try to visit the page. I can see the page find if I add port 8080 to the url, but not otherwise. Here is some of the gritty details:

Info:
Tomcat 6.0.13
Apache 2.0.54
Java 1.6.0-02
OS Mandriva 2006

Workers.properies:
# Define 1 real worker using ajp13
worker.list=default
workers.tomcat_home=/opt/tomcat/apache-tomcat-6.0.13
workers.java_home=/usr/java/jdk1.6.0_02
ps=/
# Set properties for worker1 (ajp13)
worker.worker1.type=ajp13
worker.worker1.host=localhost
worker.worker1.port=8009

server.xml:
....
<Server port="8005" shutdown="SHUTDOWN">
<!--Added by JI on 7/5/07 -->
<Listener className="org.apache.jk.config.ApacheConfig" modJk="/etc/httpd/modules/mod_jk.so" />
<!--End added by JI on 7/5/07 -->
....

...
<Host name="localhost" appBase="webapps"
unpackWARs="true" autoDeploy="true"
xmlValidation="false" xmlNamespaceAware="false">

<!-- Added by JI 7/5/07 -->
<Listener className="org.apache.jk.config.ApacheConfig"
append="true" forwardAll="false"
modJk="/etc/httpd/modules/mod_jk.so" />
<!-- End Added by JI 7/5/07 -->
...

httpd.conf
...
#To add mod_jk support
LoadModule jk_module modules/mod_jk.so
...
Include /opt/tomcat/apache-tomcat-6.0.13/conf/auto/mod_jk.conf
#end of file

/etc/httpd/logs/error_log example:
[Thu Jul 05 16:39:37 2007] [error] [client 64.81.26.11] File does not exist: /var/www/html/examples

Note: I see mod_jk.so in both /etc/httpd/modules/mod_jk.so and /usr/lib/apache/mod_jk.so - is this OK?

Any input/help/therapy is welcom!
