i can´t install it! help please..

i can´t run the X
when i install it, it says:
/tmp/imm.o: init_module: No such device
/tmp/ppa.o: init_module: No such device
then when i reboot, it starts in the console and when i write startx or xinit:
excve failed for /etc/X11/X (errno 2)
giving up
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to x server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): server error
can somebody help me?

Which distro have you installed? Most distros have a cheat code you can use before boot. (pci=noacpi noddc). Do some research on "startup cheats" on your distros Homepage. If nothing else, we shall consult those better than I. no fears mate
