Mandrake 10 update???

hey i have the 3 cds of mandrake linux 10 and i was goint to install it but am i better off installing the 3 cds or downloading the latest 1 cd version?? and if i do install mandrake 10 will i be able to update it?

With Mandriva - as it's now called - you'd be much better off installing the latest 2007 version. There are a few reasons for this:

• you'll have better support for updates (there probably aren't any for version 10.*)
• more features
• fewer bugs
• better hardware support
• more up-to-date advice on here
• much easier (and safer) when updating to the next version when you want to

Even version 2006 has pretty poor support now (I still use it though ). I would look for 2007.1 on dvd if you can find it.
