mouse pointer not working
hi.i have mandriva and window xp when i run mandriva my pointer is not working and when i run window xp my pointer is workig.what is this.what can i do.

It may be using the wrong driver. What type of mouse do you have? USB, Ps2, serial?

i have just simple mouse like hp mouse.

How is it attached? USB? Old style circular plug (Ps2)? Try launching the Control Centre to get up and running. You may be able to configure your mouse. Just navigate the control centre using Tab, the cursors (arrows) and enter.
Launch it by hitting Alt+F2, typing 'mcc' in the dialog and hitting enter.
