configure SMTP mail server

Hi Guys Im new on this forum.

I need a help how to configure the SMTP mail server in mandriva 2007
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

You want to turn your computer into mail server or to setup a mail client in order to receive mails from your provider's server? In the latter case you should ask your provider for POP3 and SMTP addresses and type in as you would do with any other OS.
