I'm using a nVidia TNT2 model 64 graphics card, and I was wondering what I needed in order for direct 3D to be available to apps, namely stepmania, an OpenGL driver'll work as well. But, I'm kinda a noob, and don't know where to get/install these thingies...
goto nvidia's website, then at the top goto: Download Drivers.
In the drivers, choose the Graphics -> GeForce and TNT -> IA32 (i assume ur on a 32 bit cpu)
If ur on 64-bit get the AMD64 (if on AMD 64) or IA64 (if on intel 64-bit)
This will download the drivers, then you need to follow the installation guide to install them. :)
If u cant find it, post again, and i'll link you or write a quick guide.
There is no such thing as Direct 3D in Linux! Only OpenGL!
Try www.nvidia.com and see if there is any linux drivers for you card!
