I have the Mandrake Globetrotter. It's an external HD with mandrake 10.0 installed. Plug it into your USB port and you have Linux on your system. anyhow, I have been unable to boot the device. After two hours of no luck, I went into rescue mode which will re-install the original configuration form the factory. Well, that doesn't work either. It gives me the message, "fsck failed on /dev/sda5 with exit code 4 or signal at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.3/mdkcommon/func.pm line 329"
Tthen it tels me to return to the rescue menu and will not carry out any other functions.
Anyone know how I can get the device to boot or restored?
