ok when i try to boot linux i get to the login screen, type my username in and log in, when its loading it takes ages then says..
No write access to $HOME directory (/home/jesse/)
KDE is unable to start.
then i have to restart, does any one know how i can be able to write to my /home/jesse/ folder again???
open a konsole su to root
password: <enter root passward> enter
and that should do it!
chmod 755 /home/jesse/
if not please paste the output of
and the output of
so we can look at the ownership of your users directory
crap i just noticed that you cant even get into kde.... so try logging into kde as root! root will not be in the list so just type it in then give the root password and that should start then continue above ^^^
