Installing Mozilla Thunderbird

Hi All,

Anybody here who knows how to install and configure mozilla thunderbird 2 in mandriva linux 2005 edition will much be appreciated thanks in advance:)

Download the thunderbird package from mozilla.com, extract it and click on the icon named thunderbird in the extracted directory. You need to make sure you have libsdtc++5 installed in order for thunderbird to work.

what is libsdtc++-5 where do I get this one and how could i install this on my computer running linux

Its a library that is needed by some packages e.g. Firefox, RealPlayer, Adobe Reader etc. You install it by doing
