mandriva 2006 - problems to shutdown

Hello,

I just installed Mandriva 2006 on my laptop.

I have problem when I want to shutdown.

In the Gnome menu I don't see shutdown option.

When I use the command "shutdown now" in a command line windows I will start shuttding down and then reboot.

Also, when it is shutting down he have the message:

I don't know what to do ....
