mandriva 2007.1 spring edition

hey guys

i am new to linux i am having problems in installing dual boot with windows xp actually i had another linux with dual boot with windows xp. but without deleting it i overwrote it with mandriva spring 2007 edition. but while loading dual boot it is loading with grub loader which is loading old linux with windows xp , but it is not showing new linux i.e. mandriva please help guys what to do.

what do you mean by loading Old Linux? if Mandriva installer has overwritten older Linux then GRUB should boot up Mandriva only.
is Windows booting up correctly? did you change anything in Boot Loader section during installation?
post the output of these commands

YES WINDOWS BOOTING UP CORRECTLY, PREVIOUSLY I HAD SABAYON LINUX WHEN I BOOT UP WITH GRUB LOADER IT IS BOOTING SABAYON BUT NOT BOOTING MANDRIVA, I DID NOT CHECK YOUR GIVEN COMMANDS I WILL CHECK THIS TODAY AND REPORT TOMORROW.
