NVIDIA Installing programs

Oke, its a long story but in the end i want to play WoW under wine.
I need to instal the NVIDIA driver first, when i turn of X server (root, telinit 3) and i run the NVIDIA driver i get an error about some GCC kernel. Says i need to install it and i cant continue without it. I searched for GCC and found some TAR files but they dont make any sence.
Hope anyone can help me couse im alrdy months busy trying to get WoW working under linux in wine.

Gcc is the Gnu Compiler Collection. It must be in your mandriva cd, go to your software manager search for gcc and install it.
