Samba Server is a pain in my _ _ _!
I have been trying to get Samba Server to run properly for the past 6 months on and off. I currently running Mandrak 10.1. I can see and access my window shares from linux. I can only see my Linux box through Windows. If I try to open it up I am met with a message saying something like \\Localhost is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network reaousrce....Blah Blah Blah.... From my other Linux box I can see and access my Linux shares, but only when I force SMB4lK browser to prompt for and authentication, and then type in the authentication of user in which file is located. I am guessing I have to edit something with Users and permissions? I cant seem to find the SWAT on Mandrake, it doesn't seem to be in the same place as it was on Fedora. Can some one please help me !!!
