I am using mandrake 10.1 official on DVD and yesterday I was trying to install gnome 2.9 and KDE 3.3.2 that I downloaded at work and burnt to CD
Anyway I had problems and went into Software Media Manager to delete the sources I added and I goofed and deleted cd5
Where the sources on the DVD are labelled
Ultimate Linux Desktop DVD (cdrom 1) up to 5 and now I've lost 5
Can someone give me the settings for 5 so I can put it back?
If CD 5 was just the sources, you probably don't actually need it.
Look at the settings for cd4, copy them exactly, replacing the 4 with 5.
ah problem is that 4 and 5 are jusgt the labells for the sources
cdrom 1 maps to /mnt/cdrom/media/main
another maps to /mnt/cdrom/media/applications
I have a feeling that 5 maps to /mnt/cdrom/media/contrib but I'm not sure
If 5 is just the sources then I'll be happy and leave it alone. I'm getting errors about now being able to install packages due to failed dependancies so I'm guessing that 5 is important .
