two boot loaders
hi everyone
-first of all i have dual boot (win2k & mdk)
-i've deleted linux partition from windows disk management and then
reinstalled a fresh copy of linux but this time i placed the bootloader in
linux partition instead of the primary partition (win partition) .
- now bootloader prompts me to choose win or linux but linux doesn't start
- when i've tried to use rescue mode to restore bootloader i found 2
bootloaders the first at primary partition hda (the old one) and the
second is hd10 (the new )
- how can i delete the old or switch to the new bootload ?thanks

An easy way to remove boot-loader is that get an old DOS boot floppy, boot up with it, enter the command "fdisk /mbr" which would remove the boot loader from your primary boot disk.

Go to www.bootdisk.com for boot disks.
Do what swemic said to do.
Then you will need to get your bootloader on to the MBR.
See Nerderello's Grub tutorial in the Linux Tutorials>General tutorials section.
Unless you want to use ntldr to boot Linux. Search this site for "booting and ntldr"
Having Grub on hda10 will not boot your OS.

Windows Recovery Console => fixmbr
