USB Camera software for Mandriva

I need an application that will allow me to take jpeg stills from a USB webcam (Omnivision ov511-ov530 compatible) and also be able to set camera parameters such as brightness, exposure, etc... Something easy to compile, install and use, with a GUI if possible.

Any suggestions?

I'm running Mandriva 64 2005 Limited Edition.

Have you tried DigiKam? It's already in Mandriva, under Multimedia > Graphics

digikam won't recognize my camera, it figures...
