Wireless conncetivity (or lack thereof)
I recently downgraded to Mandriva 2008.1 KDE3.5
Now, I can't set up my wireless network card.
I have an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG network adapter.
I have the iwlwifi-3945-1.ucode file, but I don't know where to put it.
I put it in /lib/firmware but when I try to set up the connection it says:
The kernel I am using is 18.104.22.168-laptop-1mnb (if that makes a difference).
unable to find network interface for selected device (using iwl3945 driver).
I was told to downgrade from Mandriva 2009 KDE4 because of bugs, but now I can't even get online!
