Mepis using Linksys WUSB54Gv2... Help please

I am currently trying out the Mepis live cd and i am trying to use the linksys WUSB54Gv2 wireless adapter. I have tried using it with ndiswrapper but no luck. It just says invalid driver! I am new to linux and i would really like to use it regularly as my OS but i cant if i cant get a wireless internet connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hello.
I suggest that you try it out from a installed operation system.

Then work with the Mepis Network Manager.

And regulary check your error logs at /var/log .

My common sense tells me, that it would be a bit fruitless, trying out from the LiveCD.
Besides that: Every time you shut down your system, your configurations are gone, and you have to redo them after booting from your LiveCD. So: Time consuming, as well.
