Disk partition

I have been using Ubuntu 8.10 on a Dell Mini 9 and would like to give MEPIS a try as I like what I've seen with the demo. I have downloaded it to a usb thumb drive. What is the best partitioning for the 4GB SSD hard drive. Now have:
hda1 ext3 3.32GB, hda2 extended 211.79MB, hda5 swap 221.76MB.
Also, is Remix compatible with MEPIS?
Thank you in advance.

Put all to "/" you might have the swap partition for your native Ubuntu 8.10
You can use that on as your swap.
