[SOLVED] Mint 7 live cd wont boot

Another stupid newbie question from moi:

I downloaded mint 7 (whoever recommended it to me on this site, thanks) regular edition, burned it to a blank cd, and attempted to boot it. I get passed the "# till boot" screen and then get this:

Loading /casper/vmlinuz.........................
Loading /casper/initrd.gz........

it loads quickly and then....just stops at Loading /casper/initrd.gz.....

any ideas?

i figured it out, im dumb. i burned the FILE not the image. im running mint 7 right now. its pretty impressive
