    linux mint 8 (helena) question

    hi recently my on board audio went out on me so i purchased a turtle beach audio advantage micro usb "sound card" as new egg called it. Now linux mint is handling it fine but my one question i have is every time i sign in i need to unplug the usb sound card and plug it back in after this my audio plays flawlessly anyone got any ideas on how to remedy this ? thank you in advance

    Can you post the output of

    before the card works and then again after you unplug and re-plug it in?

    yea i can do that right now sorry i was busy wiht college finals the whole time had to write some huge essays my teacher just dropped in my lap so for that time sound wasnt a priority but ill post the results very quickly for you
