    Background color in the panels?

When I'm adding items to the panel, like the window list and clock etc. They've got a really ugly background color, and it doesn't change with the color of the rest of the panel, it's more like the color of the current theme. How can I make this color transparent?

^ This is the windows list at the bottom panel, and you can clearly see the diffrence between the panel color and the color of the windows opened

^ That's the clock, at the top panel. I made the panel 100% transparent, so you can see it better.

My question is, how do I make the default color to something else, or make it transparent?

I'm sorry I couldn't use the img tags because I haven't posted more than 15 posts yet.

What background? The panel background is obviously transparent, as you can see in the screenshot. How do I change the background of items in the panel?

Alright, going by this as you are using 100% transparency from Solid color option, it's more to be related with current system theme you are using, try changing themes and see where it fits best.

If using Gnome in Mint. Look in synaptic for Gnome color chooser.
