    'Archive': probs with several functions

Hi - I'm completely new to Linux but installed Mint 10 two nights ago as I was having real problems with Windows 7 Starter on a new Samsung Notebook. The message below has started to appear when trying to download other programs. Can anyone suggested how to fix this? Is there a 're-configure system to an earlier date' option on Linux? Cheers, Joe

    Archive: /tmp/ARO2011_bt-1.exe
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /tmp/ARO2011_bt-1.exe or
/tmp/, and cannot find /tmp/ARO2011_bt-1.exe.ZIP, period.

I think the zip file may corrupted; you have to repair this and need to specify .zip extension while unzipping the file so that unzip may know the exact file to be extracted.
