    update error message

    open Terminal and type "Sudo apt-get update" when that finishes Type "Sudo apt-get upgrade" (No "Quote")

    That should fix it and update your system...

    thanks Rob, it looks like it is working. the update worked and the upgrade is in process. Will reply back with the final result.
