    I get to the mint splash screen and it reboots over and over and over


    my computer has worked fine until I lost power when booting up and from then on I get to the mint splash screen and it reboots over and over and over

    try booting without splash and see what error messages it throws up ... grub2 info here ... what are the last few lines of text you get before it reboots?

    Hey. Managed to get it to boot without splash screen (by the way... someone was posting for me. Its the same issue just made myself an account).

    Getting errors something like :

    Failed Command: READ FPDMA QUEUED

    EXT4-fs error ext4_find_entry

    Auto Reallocate failed

    EH complete

    Pretty hard to catch it all. They seem the most important to me.

    try booting from a live cd and running fschk on the root partition
