two errors popped up at startup
It was a popup that said "The panel encountered a problem while loading "WnckletFactory::WindowsListApplet". and asked if I wanted to delete the applet from configuration. I chose Don't Delete.
The second one was "The panel encountered a problem while loading "WnckletFactory::ShowDesktopApplet". and asked if I wanted to delete the applet from configuration. I chose Don't Delete.
How do I fix these?

These are confirmed Bugs in Mint and you have to wait for a while. Whenever fixes will be available, Update Manager will download/install those.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
