Hi, Nerdio.
It's been a while since I installed anything in Wine.
But I recall that I simply opened up a file manager (Nautilus, Konqueror, Rox...). Navigate to the file, right-click on it.
There was an option labelled something like:
From there, I installed just like in Windows.Code:Open with Wine Installer
BTW... the only programs I have installed in Wine are Diablo2 and HHOMM3.
Hope that helps.Jay

What program are you trying to run? you might find some details, or some tips on installation on the WineDB.
Also, the current version of Wine is 1.4.
You might want to update to the latest version and give it another go.Last edited by jayd512; 03-11-2012 at 12:21 AM. Reason: added link
