    New Linux User


    I downloaded linux from a disk that i had in my drawer because windows ****ed up.So i was trying to download Utorrent and its a fomat that linux cant open defaulty so how would i open it?

    Utorrent does not work with Linux. I am running Transmission on one of my seedboxes and I really like that. There are plenty of other torrent programs you can use.

    It sounds to me like you dowloaded a .exe file. This is not Windows, and uTorrent doesn't even have a GNU/Linux client. Here is a list of the "top 10" (a very subjective phrase) torrent clients for GNU/Linux: Top 10 torrent clients for linux

    Indeed, but here is a second for Transmission as a good and simple client.
