    unable to use wireless card


    I installed Mint (with much help from ktech11) because of problems I was having with Debian. I am a noob to linux, and am unable to connect to my wireless network with my laptop since i installed Mint (Same problem I was having with Debian). Please help. My wireless card is a Ralink RT5390 and I am using 64-bit Mint if it matters.
    Thank you so much for any and all help.

    PS, the networks button says "wireless is disabled by hardware switch"

    Have you toggled the hardware switch on your computer?

    I agree with Jay, check your owners manual or look up the model on the Internet and look for a key or combination of keys to enable WIFI.
