Problem with mobile device

hi every body

i have a problem!! when i plug my mobile phone , i can mount it , but i don't know where it mount!! its not in /media or /mnt. if i close the window then i can't access it again because i don't know where is it.
i have this problem with my camera too.

If you go to file manager, does it list the devices? If so, click on one and it should open.

without phone plugged in:

df > /tmp/aa

plug phone in and wait for window displaying contents to open, then

df > /tmp/bb

compare output to see what has changed:

diff /tmp/aa /tmp/bb

no , it's not in list . i don't know where can i find it.

run dmesg after you plug the phone in, and post the relevant portion here.

also, a screen cap of the window showing the contents would be helpful.

Edit: just do a "dmesg -c" first, to clear the buffer, then attach phone, then run dmesg, then copy-paste it.
