Backlight get low after few seconds idle

Hello guys

im using linuxmint MATE edition

the issue is the backlight brightness get low after few secs idle !!

i check the power management/monitor there's no option


i use this

sudo setpci -s 00:02.0 f4.b=ff

to get full light.. but it's get low again in 8 sec idle

any solution?

Hi Pixels,
you can find the display timing power under the control panel in the screen saver box. Adjust to never turn off display and it should solve your problem. I am surprised you got through the install as it dims the monitor during install unless you move the mouse cursor ever 5 or 6 minutes. EdWh
