How save time/location in Maya persistence?
Greetings!
Right now I'm trying to learn to do a full XFCE Maya install on a 8gig flash drive, but till them I'm learning Maya on a live USB flash. One of things I found is despite persistence that on fresh boot-ups the clock doesn't keep the time or location even after I use the terminal date commands to set them as recommended by others. Is there anyway persistent Maya can boot up with saved location and time data? Thanks!

I hate to dodge the question, but this problem will go away after you install Maya onto your computer from the USB flash drive.

because your using live media it wont save anything you do. a full on install on the pc would work better.
