Greetings;
I managed to install Seamonkey to MATE Maya but it doesn't show up on MintMenu 5.3.7. Is there any remedy?
Thanks!

Hi,
Do you have the GNOME desktop-file-utils package installed? It contains a program called desktop-file-install which does just this: it takes applications that come with a desktop shortcut file (e.g., seamonkey.desktop), and installs it (typically to /usr/share/applications, but will vary w/distros), which also adds it to the GNOME menu. If the .desktop file does not exist for a given app, it is trivial to create one.
I know that this is a GNOME-specific package, and not a MATE one, but perhaps MATE uses the same convention for the menu, I'm not sure.
