    Nvidia drivers for Linux Mint 14? (Geforce 540m)

    I have a Geforce 540m which I would like to utilize for gaming but sadly, I can't. I am inconvenienced by a lack of proper drivers for my hardware. I downloaded the latest official Linux drivers for my graphics card from Nvidia's official site and installed them, only to find that they were broken and caused problems. I then tried the ones from the Mint repositories, they were broken also. Where can I find the correct drivers?
