Resolution boots up to 800x600 in Linux Mint KDE under my Virtual Mach
Hello Forum,
I am running VMWARE and a bunch of VM linux distros. For some reason the Linux Mint KDE will boot up to 800x600 even after I changed it. Ubuntu does the same at the login screen, but after logining in it goes back to the last resolution I selected.
So question, why is my Linux Mint KDE doing thi? Is there any file I should edit here? Any guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I am not a Vmware user but you can edit boot up resolution in /etc/default/grub file. Make sure to generate grub.cfg again after editing that file.
Code:sudo update-grub
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
