No sound support after a while.... LinuxMint13. Please help me!
Hi all,
I'm a newbie in the Linux world. I've installed LinuxMint13 64 bit Cinnamon on my Acer Aspire 5741G.
I've done the general update with the update manager in the administration tools. After these updates the sound support didn't work anymore.
So i reinstalled all over again. This time i didn't update Mint, but after a while it stopped to work anyway. Of course in the beginning it worked, both of the time, but then it stopped without a reason.
For no sound support I mean that there isn't any sound effect coming out from my computer... none from any application, mp3 files, videogames, onlineapplications, youtube... no sound at all!
Why there is this problem? How do I fix this problem? I've asked to the linuxmint forum, but no one replied

First of all welcome to the forums.
Does the sound work again if you reboot when it stops? If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)
My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.
