    Iconized Bottom Panel

Hello, I am coming from Windows 7 to Linux Mint so I am very new and still figuring things out. I don't know much about Linux so I may need more clarification.

The only thing that I can't seem to figure out so far is how to make the panel bar on the bottom iconized like Windows 7 is. Currently the windows I have open display the icon of the program and the part of the title. I just want a larger icon.

Is there any easy way to do this?

    Thanks,
    Shawn C.

    Hello and welcome!

If the default panel in Mint won't do what you want, you might like wbar:

If you decide to try it, the wbar package "may" be available through your package manager.

    Thanks for the welcome.

I ended up switching to Ubuntu and it already has a "dock" that I can use.

Gonna see if this works for what I want/need.
