    Unhappy Help with file transfer

So in Linux Mint 12, I'm having a problem. I'm copying and pasting the folder from my Home directory or whatever into the flashdrive, and the folder pastes fine, but the documents inside the folder are gone. I would appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks.

    Hello and Welcome.
Did the flashdrive mount itself or did you mount it? Can you try using the terminal? Have you changed any permissions?

    Welcome aboard!

If you happen to have used the terminal to copy your folders, make sure to use the -R argument.
    Code:
    cp -R <source_directory> <destination_directory>
